Lynx

The lynx (Lynx lynx) is the only member of the cat family found in the wild in Finland. Like other cats, lynxes have excellent night vision and hearing. These abilities allow lynxes to make sure they are seldom seen by people.

Lynxes are the most carnivorous of Finland’s large mammals, feeding almost exclusively on birds and mammals.
